Just in case you are interested we are flying Icelandair (a new experience) and will be staying at the Castle House Luxury Apartments in Reykjavik and then moving on to the Northern Lights Inn at the Blue Lagoon.  The menagerie is being left in the tender care of our youngest niece, Janessa. This is the start of Alex's big adventure in Iceland.........20th March to 23rd March 2009.   Already we are stressing about what to take with us, what to wear, what will the driving conditions be like......I have a surprise up my sleeve for Alex!  All will be revealed on the big day - 19th March :-)
